Hair dryer question

Our first Viking Ocean cruise is coming up in a few weeks although we have done many Celebrity cruises.  On Celebrity, their hair dryers require that you continuously hold the "on" button down for them to work.  Very annoying!  What are the Viking hair dryers like?  Do they have "on" switches that stay on until you switch them off?  Thanks.

Yes they have on/off buttons and are quite powerful.  You can only use them (or any other hair appliance) at the desk not in the bathroom.

Great to know dryers on Viking are powerful.  I can usually make do on other ships, but they really seemed more like hot air versus moving air.

I have long, thick curly hair.  Viking's hairdryers work perfectly for me.

Hairblowers do have a continuous ON button and are powerful.

I love Viking’s hair dryers.  I have long, very thick hair and they dry me quickly.  And no, you do not need to hold the on button down.

Great hairdryers, and since they can not be used in the bathroom, being able to sit at the desk instead of standing in the bathroom is an added luxury!

Do the hair dryers have a low/high heat setting?  Do they have low/high speed settings?  Thanks,
