Where can I Find the best conch salad within walking distance of Nassau Docks?

I don't know if it's the "best" but Bahamian Cookin' has great food, including conch salad: http://bahamiancookin.com/lunch-menu/

 

I've heard the conch salad is good at Senor Frog's too but haven't tried it.  It seems touristy and less authentically Bahamian.

Thanks for this.  I'm also looking for a good conch salad for when we stop in January.  The version on this menu is ceviche style, which I like.  I hope the conch is nice and fresh

You could try the Fish Fry area. It's less than ten minutes by bus.

We always go to Linda's Place right inside the port area. Great Conch Salad and Conch Fritters and cheap too!

The time I remember getting conch salad at Senor Frogs, there was a guy moving around the restaraunt with a cart who would prepare the conch fresh on the spot for you, including removing it fresh from the shell. I don't know how authentic that was, but I was pleased to find that in such a touristy place as SF. It was several years ago, so it may not be the current case though.

I meant Senor Frog's wasn't authentic.  The conch salad probably was.

We were at Senor Frogs last weekend.  This is still the case, made at your table,  and the Conch Salad was excellent.  We had 5 kids with us and they had a great time as well.  It's 'touristy', but still a lot of fun and close to the ships/port.

We always go to the Fish Fry when in Nassau. Our favorite restaurant is Oh Andros. Their Conch Salad and Cracked Conch is excellent!
