Alaska Naturalist

I cruised Alaska on the Solstice on May 8, 2015.  For the life of me I cannot remember the name of the naturalist on board.  I remember he did a dramatic presentation with audio-visuals on Alaska that gave me goosebumps and made me think he had some kind of acting background.  His wife also did some presentations but he was the real star. 

 

Any ideas who he was?

I agree ... it was probably Brent Nixon and Miss Amanda ... I think they may be married or at least a couple.  Either way, if we all had teachers like Brent while in school, nobody would have ever skipped class.  He is so engaging!!

I would be surprised if it wasn't Brent Nixon and his wife Amanda.  The Solstice has been "his" ship for several years, and at times they have had the daughters onboard with them.

It looks like Brent will be back on Solstice in 2020 as well as a couple of cruises on Reflection. He does a lot of speaking engagements with schools, what a treat for those kids!
