Largest decks on Escape ?

We are heading in this week to book our first cruise on Norwegian 

I am pouring over deck plans and cabin reviews.  I already know that not all decks are created equally.

Is there a deck or ship location that has bigger balconies?

There are categories with bigger balconies, sure. But seems like you are asking if you book a standard balcony cabin, does the balcony size vary depending on the deck? From what I can tell, no. They are cookie-cutter in design.

If booking a standard balcony, there are the angled balconies which are the same price but are about 50% larger. Also, if you look at the furthest aft balconies on each side, they are wider than standard (width varies by deck).

B6 and M6 categories have larger balconies

I did see the category with larger balconies but in a review,  if I read it right,  she was on deck 9 in a cabin with larger balcony and made a comment that the balcony  below her was twice as big.

She was probably on a deck 9 B6 and below her was a deck 8 M6....

 

 

...the deepest balconies here are the M6s (about 1/4 covered, 3/4 exposed), above those are the B6s (about 1/2 covered, 1/2 exposed) , and above those are standard balconies (the 3 people in the middle).

 

These balconies are towards the front of Escape and the largest non- Haven balconies on Escape are the M6s.

I prefer the B6 on 9. The balcony is plenty big. More privacy. Also depending on how trashy the people are on your cruise, the M6's sometimes get cigarette butts and other garbage tossed down onto them. That stuff is less likely to land on a B6.
