MD VBMom Posted November 19, 2019 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2019 (edited) Has anyone done this tour lately? How was the tour? What type of foods were served? Trying to decide if it's worth the $35/pp price tag. Thank you! Edited November 19, 2019 by MD VBMom
biomedbob Posted November 19, 2019 #2 Share Posted November 19, 2019 Great question! My wife and I both have the Alpha Gal allergy caused by a lone star tick bite. Would love to do it, if the offerings were agreeable
starrcards Posted November 20, 2019 #3 Share Posted November 20, 2019 We did this tour several years ago. We paid $28 per adult and the head waiter comped my 11 year old son. The tour was very informative. You vsit all areas of the galley. Our brunch included breakfast (French toast if I remember correctly) as ell as some lunch items (beef and fish). There was unlimited champagne, mimosas and bellinis. Desert was cheesecake with fruit. Definitely worth doing once. Would hold out for a better price (either on Black Friday or by your waiter on board).
Another_Critic Posted November 20, 2019 #4 Share Posted November 20, 2019 They used to give free galley tours. I think they still may for D+ and Pinnacle.
SRF Posted November 20, 2019 #5 Share Posted November 20, 2019 We did it a couple of years ago. The brunch menu had both breakfast and lunch items. We were drinking mimosas, and they were bringing them faster than we drank them. At one point, we each had 4 waiting to be drunk. 😄
