When is your cruise?

Sometime they show up 8-9 mths out sometimes 4 mths

I just keep checking to see when they open up

We have had luck booking on day one onboard  but maybe not now  as you can use the OBC ahead of time

We are waiting for culinary classes to be bookable for our March 31 cruise.  Oceania has no idea when they will be available.  There is no "rule."

Oceania does try to get the classes organized by at least 4 months out, but they are  recruiting from a limited pool of staff who are concurrently working full time jobs elsewhere on the ship.

Life is not as easy for the powers that be,  since the Free Will Act was passed  🥴

I see that shore excursions for my cruise should be available in a day or two but the site doesn’t seem to offer any specifics about the cooking classes. How soon are they usually available for sign up? I’m guessing they sell out.

The popular classes do sell out, but on our last cruise we had a class cancelled and were notified upon boarding.

I'm not talking about the Instructors, it's the prep people.

well getting 2 extra staff from the kitchens  you would not think it would be an issue

They do a rotor  to cover the  classes

We had the same 2  helpers  on the 2 classes we took ..days apart

Our favorite shore excursions were the ones led by the Culinary Class chef.  Some of those were both onshore and back at the ship kitchen, some were all onshore.  Both were great!!!  The plain cooking class ones only onboard were less interesting to us.
