Evening all!! Hubby and I are cruising the first week of January on the Sunshine out Of Charleston Sc. It a 4 day cruising to Nassua. Its been quite a few years since we"ve been to the Bahamas . Usually when we cruise its in April, June warmer months. But we got a great deal and its our home port so why not ! And we really needed to get away just us. I know what the weather is like here in January but have no clue what to expect as we cruise out to the Bahamas and what its like there. Any help would be great or even suggestions what to do! Thanks again!

not necessarily, we have been to Nassau in January and we had to buy sweatshirts, low 60's and windy. Anytime there is cold front coming into Florida, it will hit the Bahamas as well. As a diver, we would never go to Bahamas in January to dive.

The Bahamas is out in the Atlantic.  Can be warm or cold that time of year.  Cold fronts do come in often enough.  But barring a cold front, its likely to be warm and even hot in the sun.  The water will be quite chilly as well.
