Yes! That is the one that they approved. 🙂
As far as I can tell it is identical to the Carnival excursion with the addition that they provide water, and Carnival does not.

Does anyone know how far in advance of a sailing a price match can be done? Amber Cove excursions are showing up for a May 2021 sailing. I’m interested in trying a price match for the Damajagua waterfalls excursion mentioned in the first post.

As I’ve mentioned to others before your post I’m a little new, but thought I might try to help out.
I know the LATEST you can do the price match is 7 days before your cruise starts. To specifically answer your question, I haven’t seen any limit to how early you can price match. It seems that as long as you have bought the Carnival excursion, and filled out the form with the comparable excursion’s information that they will consider it.

For 3 adults, 2 children, OBC = $93

 

Does this OBC show up in your cruise documents, and added to the OBC I got for booking? If so, how long will it take to show up there?  Thanks.

 Do you have a link to the third party excursion? How long did it take you to get approved? I don't remember if mine was on the documents before the cruise or  not. I did bring a copy of the letter with me in the event it wasn't on my account.

Expedia and viatar both had it for $80/$60 under "Rising Son Catamaran Cruise and Snorkeling"

 

Same operator as Carnival.

 

I put in for it Sunday afternoon, and it came today.  So, 48 hours for a Sunday submittal.

In case anyone is wondering, the credit for our price match is not showing in the OBC portion of the cruise documents.  However, in the pre-purchase section of the cruise documents, the excursions line item shows the adjusted amount (what I paid minus the OBC I'll be getting).

Think I've got that going on as well. I price matched the cabo whale watching excursion and I never received an email from them but the price of the excursion has adjusted. I'm probably going to call just to make sure they have the OBC on my account since I don't have the email and it isn't showing in my documents.

I dont remember the numbers, but on our Fascination cruise a few years back I wanted to book a catamaran tour to swim with turtles etc, believe it was Tamiami. We dont generally do ship excursions but when I contacted the company, they were booked and had no openings. I looked and Carnival's tour looked the same so booked that one and filed for the price match and received it for all 6 of us.

I price matched for our cruise in October. Total OBC is $113.26. We are getting $12.09 per adult ticket & $44.54 per child ticket. We booked the All Inclusive Outback Dominican Adventure thru Carnival & price matched to the Outback Experience Puerto Plata (basically the same company but this tour is for hotels/resorts in the area). I honestly didn’t know if they would accept it since it’s basically the same company. When you visit their site it even directs you to Carnival’s excursion site for Amber Cove tours. The reviews on Carnival’s site and a third party review site are awesome! We are excited!

 

We don’t normally do ship tours but since our kids will be with us & it’s our first time visiting Amber Cove we want the extra assurance of not being left. Plus none of the third party sites I found had tours we wanted or could do with the kids (ages 6&8). Our other ports are HMC & Grand Turk so we didn’t want to do a beach excursion or stay at the port pool in AC even though this tour does stop at a beach for a short period.
