So Fla Local to POM Transportation Question

Hi everyone!  We will have a group of 11 of us going on a cruise together (all family). My immediate family is in Coral Springs, the rest are on the west coast of Florida. We figure paying 3 cars worth to park at POM will run around $528 for all 3 cars for our 8 day cruise. I did an estimate with UberXL and since we'd need 2 of those it would cost about $300 one way so that's definitely not an option.  I know some companies offer big vans that would be able to hold all of us plus our luggage. Not sure if that would work or not. I looked up SAS since that seemed to be recommended in here, but I'm guessing since we'd be coming from a house and not a hotel they may not be an option. Anyone been in our shoes and have suggestions on what worked best economically?

Price out one way rental cars - if you drop the cars at the MIA airport car rental center and use National, Alamo, Thrifty or Enterprise they will shuttle you to POM.  After the cruise catch the shuttle back to MIA (show the driver your rental paperwork) and use one-way rentals to get back.

 

I would also look at using Uber to the Brightline train and contact Larry's Limos, Holland Limo and Go Airport for private transport quotes.

I have a feeling transportation companies like SAS will gladly pick you up anywhere.

SAS and other transportation companies have permits that limit their business practices.

Hence, SAS does not stop at Port Everglades but serves the Port of Miami from many places in the Ft Lauderdale area.
