My first time going to GSC, will be there 2 times in 3 days in April...May have important work stuff going on, and wondering if the ship's wifi or the NCL wifi service will work on GSC?

IIRC Coco Cay had wifi when we went there a couple years back....hoping it was the same.

TIA!

No Wi-Fi. But the island has a cell tower. You need an international package on your phone (we have a $10 per day package in our phone). Then use phone as hotspot (faster than ship Wi-Fi).

Yes!!  Was told the cell tower was upgraded recently on GSC.  I also had the international package on my phone, and had great cell service (Gem December)  while on the ship after we anchored.

On previous successful tender stops at GSC, WiFi signal from ship managed to get beamed (most likely, microwave antenna) onto the private island.  This might've been changed lately, YMMV.

3G cellular signal from BTC, our Google Fi's roaming partner has been consistently faster, superior & reliable while docked there - and inexpensive with 2 smartphone & a tablet running all day.  As noted ("hi, Jan) above, great to good cellular coverage even when staying on the ship, reachable into the cabin, on balconies and open/outdoor areas (i.e. garden cafe) on the side facing the island's tall tower (you will see the antenna mask, just beyond the tender piers & main beach.)  Land signal faded 15 to 30 minutes after our evening sailing as we pulled further away from the Berry Islands.

Onward to Nassau next or coming from there, BTC has excellent 4G/LTE coverage
