Recharging Electric Scooter?

I am renting a scooter for the first time.  I’m told it has a six foot cord to charge it.  The cabin I have, on Celebrity Equinox, has the bed by the bathroom and therefore the scooter will be by the cabin door.  The only plug is on the other side of the bed and I don’t think a six foot cord will reach it.  Do people use an extension cord?  Can you take out the battery to charge it?

You can request an extension cord.

the cabin steward will provide an extension cord( do NOT bring your own as it will not be allowed on board)

And you can remove the battery.  Be aware the battery is very heavy so you may not be able to do it by yourself.

always ask the steward. dont be afraid to rent and take that scooter all over the destination. you'll have a great time. better than sitting on the boat waiting for someone to tell you about the port when there is no need to.
