Luggage Direct?

Does Carnival Still do the Luggage Direct? Meaning can that once I go through costumes they take my luggage to the airport and I don't have to worry about it again?

If you are on a Carnival shuttle, they do handle your luggage from the airport to the ship- even your costumes. (I am glad others make typos. Carnival use to have a system where you could ship your bags home through the ship, I do not think they do that any more.

he asked ship to airport. I have heard this before, just don't understand how you can check bags without a boarding pass and picture ID. I know every time we use a Skycap, ID and boarding passes are required

Various ports have companies that work out of them to take bags to the airport if you want to explore before heading to the airport.  The bags are brought to you in baggage claim, typically, and then you go to check in as normal.  It's just a storage service, they don't check them in for you.  Google your port and see if there are luggage storage options.  I have done it in New Orleans and Fort Lauderdale personally and it's great.

We did it a few years ago in Miami.  Set your luggage out the last night of the cruise and you don’t see it again until you land at your last airport.  Worth every dime!  They don’t do it any more. sorry

Carnival no longer has this program. Seattle is the exception since the program is run by the port.

We used it on HAL but I have never known Carnival to offer it. I would have used it if offered.
