Mobile Issues due to fog

Pulled up at our assigned time..ship hadn't even docked...no notification from Carnival until we literally pulled up to parking...we signed up for text alerts but so far nothing...so we wait..lol fun times

I'm so sorry. We've had fog issues 2x in Tampa and that is no fun. I hope that you are able to enjoy your cruise.

Sorry to hear about the delay. We sailed last February 2019 and our ship was unable to return to Mobile until 5:00pm due to fog. The good news was that the Cruise Director and the staff quickly tuned it into another “fun day at sea”. 

 

The funny thing was that, once we finally disembarked and exited the parking garage, we saw several people outside the cruise terminal, tailgating, with coolers and lawn chairs, some shirtless, and obviously very drunk. 😂 They hootered and hollered, and banged on our car as we drove away. They were the outbound passengers who apparently didn’t know about the delay and had spent several hours making the most of it. I understand that the ship finally sailed out at 11:00pm that night.

 

Hope you can start your cruise soon. In the meantime, grab a lawn chair, a cooler, and wait it out...😉

Finally they sent a text..I hate their unresponsiveness for such a long time...we may get to board at 8 PM....just as a previous poster said folks all around us are getting trashed
