How easy to get Lyft or Uber at 5:00 in the AM to SFO

In the past we have used Super Shuttle to SFO from the San Francisco Penninsula South Area.

 

Since they are now out of business we need to rely on Uber or Lyft.

 

Does anyone have any experience scheduling an Uber or Lyft at 5:00 in the morning from the SF Penninsula Menlo Park to Redwood City Area?

 

Good or bad?

 

Appreciate any information.

Extremely easy. I have never had an issue getting an Uber/Lyft at any hour of the evening/morning in San Francisco. There are tons of them.

I travel down in that area for business on occasion, and generally don't have trouble getting Uber or Lyft in that area.  I have had occasions where the app had trouble finding me a ride during Rush hour, but most times of the day it isn't a problem.

IIRC between 6amish & 9am is rush hour at SFO for departures. 

 

Given that it's recommended for some flights to be there 2 hours before departure I think the Uber & taxi drivers know to be out & about at 5am.
