Games on Wonder

Is there a library on Wonder?  DH and I love to play Scrabble.  Wondering if we need to bring our own game to play?

No libraries on any Disney ship.  There are some board games available, usually in O'Gill's.  What's available does vary (and may not be complete).  If there is a specific game you want to play, it's good idea to bring your own.

There used to be games in the Promenade Lounge in the past.  I don't know if there still are.

The most recent dry dock in Victoria saw the Promenade Lounge remade into the French Quarter Lounge, they removed all the upholstered bench seats and chairs replacing them with wrought iron seating and small wooden benches, not very comfortable for long periods of time, there are tables there to play games and such but the acoustics of the new space makes it a little loud since there's many hard surfaces for the sound to echo off of. On previous WBPC's on the Wonder we saw many people playing games on Deck 9 along the outside portions of the lido deck, where there is protection from the wind somewhat. That or you could possibly find space to play games in the Crown & Fin Pub during the daytime. Hope this helps!

Just got back from Wonder.  There are games in Crown and Fin Pub.    Hubby played with the nephews: Chess, checkers, backgammon, and Catan.    We aren't big scrabble players, so that was not one they looked for.

Both Crown and Fin and the French quarter lounge are used for Disney organized games and activities (trivia, origami folding etc) during sea days, and you may have to plan around those things to get your game on.    Much fewer things are scheduled on port days.    If you bring a set with heavy tiles (you wouldn't want them blowing around!) you could play in the cove Cafe area on deck nine.  There are soft couches with "coffee tables" between them, and dining tables.   They are reasonably protected from wind, but things happen!  :-D

Thanks everyone!  This helps tremendously.  We will bring our own games and can't wait to see all the places described here.  34 days to go!

34 days? Sounds like you're on the WBPC with us. We can now say we're sailing next month!
