Thank you for the response. Good to know. I've read some not great embarkation stories about about MSC.

The photo is used in the MSC for Me app, but as others have said, it isn’t required to include it there.

As others have said, we too uploaded our pics beforehand, only to have to have pics taken at port also.  I won't fret or bother about doing that for our cruise next week.
