Rare SonuvaBeach Posted February 15, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2020 We will be in Lahaina on March 29 and want to spend a few hours at Ka'anapali after our whale watch tour, so time and ease of transport is of paramount importance. Taxis seem to be our best option. On a Sunday, are there a lot of taxis at the cruise terminal to take us to Ka'anapali? Is it easy to get one to return back to the cruise port? CruiserBruce Posted February 15, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 15, 2020 There will be taxis. The only issue is if you are later in the tendering process...there might a wait. But there have been taxis every time we have been there.

You can just as easily get an Uber in and around Lahaina. Cars tend to be nicer than the taxis. Until a few years ago Ubers were fairly sparse and wait times could be longer, but they have ramped up considerably and we primarily use them now when we're on Maui.
