Texting

We are sailing an the Rhapsody next month. Will we be able to text each other with their app? Didn’t know if it works on all ships.

Only Allure and Harmony currently have the texting (chat) feature enabled.

1) Buy Voom for each device and use WhatsApp, iMessage (if iPhone), email, etc.

2) Pay your providers charges for cruise ship texting.

3) White board on the cabin door.

4) Notes in the cabin.

5) Share each other's plans.

6) Don't leave each other out of your sight.  

 

P.S.  My 38th cruise is on Thursday, and so far I've only lost one or two people. 😉

Easiest way is to enable Wi-Fi calling at home before you leave, and buy a 2-device VOOM package (or however many people you'll have). 

Then you can call and text each other just like at home, as long as you're connected to the ship's Wi-Fi.
