Quiet penthouse suite location?

Considering our first Oceania Cruise on Regatta...we’ve sailed four times on AZ and love the R-Class ships, but we’ve always stayed on Deck 7 in a basic veranda cabin and we’ve been reluctant to upgrade to the larger suites on Deck 8 because of their location under public decks and especially the restaurant. We’ve read some comments they can be noisy.  We are somewhat noise sensitive when sleeping.  Can anyone share Penthouse Suite locations that you found to be quiet (or ones to avoid)? Thanks!

We have always found that the PH3's which are forward of the forward staircase on Deck 8 are the quietest on the ship.  Even the hallway is quiet there.

Enjoy 😇

We sailed in 8065 and it was fine.  We never heard any noise from overhead.  However, the gentle “hum” of the engines is more noticeable aft.  The trade off was that it was a very smooth sailing for us. Almost no motion.  I would avoid cabins under Waves Grill because of the scraping noise of chairs on the wooden deck.

Though PH1, cabins under Waves are perhaps the worst ones on the entire ship! On O class ships, we no longer book Deck 11 cabins. Those dead center PH2 cabins on Deck 10 are our favorites. Shouldn’t be printing that! O will want to make the PH1!! 🙁
