Panama Canal Ship Option Question

Planing a full transit in early 2021 but unsure of the ship to choose.   Very little difference in price between the two ships,  Rotterdam or Zaandam ? Thinking of booking a Cat. L cabin under the dining room.  Have done a partial from Ft Lauderdale.  Thinking of doing this one from San Diego.  Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.  Thanks

Eurodam and Nieuw Amsterdam are doing Panama Canal cruises in spring of 2021 also.  I'm going on Nieuw Amsterdam from Ft. Lauderdale to San Francisco.  Obvious choice for me....one flight only!

They are both R class ships so if price doesn't matter then either ship will do just fine. Enjoy your cruise.

Have sailed on both ships -- both are great ships.

 

JMO -- I would choose the Rotterdam -- she is a bit classier.
