Edge - Chef's Table

We have done it on Edge as well as Infinity and Silhouette.   It is very enjoyable but sometimes it can be a roll of the dice.  3 or 4 were really fun evening.   On the other, 2 of the 6 couples cancelled at the last minute and there were only 4 of us.   The couple were shall we say not very talkative and it was like pulling teeth to keep a conversation going.

I guess the best way to compare it is like the old days of group seating.   Sometime you got interesting table mates and other times you ask to be re-seated.

Had a blast at ours on Edge two weeks ago...great menu, plenty of wine (if you upgrade) and great fun.  No need for the huge, unwieldy David Baloud cookbook filled with recipes I’ll never prepare, but, otherwise, worth it...

Looks like the exact same menu we had.   Being a male couple they didn't know what to do so they sent us 2 of those heavy cookbooks.   We have a good friend in Australia that we will be visiting in December who collects cookbooks...  So we will be hauling it half way around the world.
