ToddWelch Posted February 21, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 21, 2020 We have cruised out of Miami several times but we have always travelled in by plane and used rental cars. Looking for recommendations on parking for 2 vehicles for the week (Friday to Friday). Has anybody come up with unique solutions....or just good experiences at the various parking lots? Thanks in advance. Todd
JohninDC Posted February 21, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 21, 2020 Most of the locals who frequent this board will advise you to park at POM. If you search this board (IF the search function works) you'll find a few threads saying they had no issues and saved $$, along with many threads detailing lost reservations/deposits, vandalized cars, no show shuttles, etc. Parking at POM is covered, convenient and secure - but costs $22/day. It's your car - do you feel lucky?

thinfool Posted February 21, 2020 #4 Share Posted February 21, 2020 Suggest that you investigate the special Brightline train package. You could park, securely, at West Palm Beach or Ft Lauderdale, train to Miami with a special Lyft rate for the 'last mile' to the ship. It may or may not be cost effective, but $22/day to park seems excessive.
hrhdhd Posted February 21, 2020 #5 Share Posted February 21, 2020 Just a note that not all of the parking at POM is covered. We have parked in a lot before (that is, not in a garage).
