We were also on that cruise. At the Top Tier Party, the CD said that they hadn't scheduled Aquanation for almost 2 months because they know the seas are rougher during these months. But the crew practices for the show, and that's why they performed a part of it for us. So it sounded like they plan on doing this again at some point.

Gotcha, thanks for the clarification.  Looks like I'll have to book another cruise on Symphony in the future to see it 🙂

On Symphony currently and had the same response as OP. It only lets you book 1 comedy show and I have no idea if it is the same comedians all week, Hiro has been cancelled twice already, no headliner. Honestly, the amount of shows has not been enough I do see iSkate 2.0 on the schedule though.

I understand why Hiro has been cancelled, but throw a movie on in the theatre then.

So now they are just shutting down the the Aqua Theater shows for 2-3 months of every year? Why doesn't RCI announce that? Though I understand that when I book an Oasis class ship there is always the possibility something will go wrong with the entertainment my expectation is that the shows will occur.

The Aqua Theater is the main reason that I book Oasis class ships. If I know the Theater is going to be non-operationsl during certain times of the year then I could turn my attention to other, and less expensive, ships.

The comedy show that needs reservations is the same act all week. Sometimes they will have a different comedy show but that will be in the main theater and won't have reservation options.

I remember watching a movie or two on RCCL in the main theatre way back when.  Would be nice to have that going on more often when a show not going on.  Afternoon matinee or a late night movie.    Seems like an inexpensive way to add more to the daily planner.

RCI has been doing evening movies on the pool decks of ships that have the mega screens added and the Aqua Theaters of the Oasis sisters.
