Enchantment, March 2-6: a first timer's review

We pretty much went straight to the MDR and dropped the carry on bags. Had a nice lunch, all good except the mac and cheese, and plenty of time to wander while waiting for rooms. We eventually wandered to the Schooner bar for cocktails, but not before we had a little fly by in the Viking Crown lounge.

Our room is good and the balcony is awesome. The carry on bag we checked in the MDR was tucked away in the closet when we got here and the bags were delivered as we headed out for muster.

 

After muster we grabbed a roast beef sammie at the Park Cafe and peeked in at the spa. We cleaned up and went to Boleros for a bit before catching the early show of the comedy headliner. He was good, but the sign language interpreter was the best part, especially when he signed the music.

First sea day was punctuated by toddling between meals with view, bars with view, and spa treatments, with a view

And today we pulled into Cozumel just after sunrise, docked alongside Gargantua of the Seas, and spent a lovely day a Nachi Cocom.

Looks like great weather!  We board on Friday...how’s the vibe on board regarding the corona virus?

Onboard as well... and absolutely no evidence of worry or anything different than usual.  Windjammer very busy, passengers happy and partying, entertainment is great... hope you have a wonderful cruise!

Just lots of hand sanitizer and reminders to wash your hands and don't touch your face.

Was the Park Café open for lunch on boarding day?  Like to have another option to avoid the WJ chaos....not to mention grabbing a Kummelweck first thing!!

So, we're back. 😢

Final sea day was another trip to the spa, a nap in the sun on the balcony, cards and trivia in the Schooner bar, and an outstanding dinner at Chops. We are having our farewell Key breakfast in the MDR now.

Debarkation by muster station, waiting comfortably in the Centrum. I believe there's a line for Key guests, or at least a place to retrieve our luggage, but we're driving, so I'm in no rush to stand around or go in search of information. 

When they call our muster station, will go to the theater.

Changed my mind and asked a gentleman with a walkie talkie who sent right out the door to the porters and customs and we are at the shuttle pickup at 9:00. Too fast to even call him to wait for us!

Except! I forgot one of my bags ... currently waiting for RCI staff to retrieve it and send through customs. Ugh.

No worries, had the bag within 5 minutes

And 9:45 I am on the highway.
