Check in with your Roll Calls for updates on your cruises

Just putting it out here, in light of all the things going on with the daily changes that are happening all over the world.  If you aren't aware, there are roll calls on CC for most of the cruises.  More often than not that is the place to find what is happening with your upcoming cruise, long before you get any notice from NCL.  And while you are at it, make sure you are keeping up-to-date on any new requirements for flights and any other forms of transportation.  Many cruises have FB groups as well.

For example, if you are going to Papeete, they now require a health certificate, dated within 5 days, before you can get on the plane - doesn't matter where you are coming from.  Still no notice from NCL and the airlines are just now figuring it out.  I'm sure there will be more to come.

Right now it takes a village to figure out what is happening

Leaving on March 20 from Papeete Tahiti I found out through CC roll call about the required medical certificate to fly this week. No info from Delta, NCL or our TA about requirements to fly. I'm  guessing there will be a lot of passengers without the info that will not be allowed to board the plane.

Just take everything that you see on a roll call with a grain of salt. The people posting often have no better information than you do.

True, you should do your own research.  But the roll calls are way ahead of NCL in getting out information about policy changes, itinerary changes and so on - some people do have way better information than the rest of us and fortunately they take the time to share. Even wrong information can be an alert that something may be amiss or changing.  And when wrong information is posted, it is generally set right in short order.

NCL is still telling those who call that those on the March 20 Tahiti to Hawaii cruise don't need to get a health certificate before they get on the plane, citing old information.
