I have been reading about the recent Carnival Corp data breach.  Has anyone received any  information  directly from HAL concerning how this may affect us and what steps have been taken to protect our information?

No and it sounds like from media reports that you need to take steps to protect your information.

Small comfort is that when I just did on line check in for our next cruise our Passport and CC information was not stored and I had to enter new numbers.
