What happens if I don't make final payment-any need to call?

I am waiting on hold now to cancel June cruise. Unsure of how long it will be and I'm wondering what happens if I just don't make final payment on Monday, when it's due? I know it's $100 per person lost and the rest of the deposit as a FCC. I also paid an extra $500 towards cruise. Will the $500 be refunded along with port taxes, excursions? I am just wondering if I even need to wait to speak to anyone.

Not making final payment immediately puts you in the 25% penalty phase a day after payment is due and the entire deposit is lost.  

 

Like it or not you you need to call.

Usually the booking is cancelled, but besides the extra $100pp you'd get by calling, you might have slightly more assurance things cancelled correctly.

Ok got through in only 40minutes! got FCC for the deposit and the extra payment refunded in cash so very happy!
