chocolate melting cake Posted April 12, 2020 #2 Share Posted April 12, 2020 We did it last year-----SAS transportation was excellent for us. I hate recommending anything, but I remember they were right on time and very knowledgeable about scenic items and knowing how to avoid delays. hdrdr Posted April 12, 2020 #3 Share Posted April 12, 2020 I have used Mear's Transportation and so far it is 100% reliable. In fact, with recent cruise cancellations, Mear's issued refunds (had their services booked on two cruises) quicker than the airline and, of course, much quicker than Carnival. Sent from my iPhone using Forums "Best" is in a stretch limo with a stocked bar! 😎 From the FLL airport day of your cruise, or from a hotel near FLL? Lots of shared shuttles (SAS. QLS, MJS, Go Airport) will get you from FLL and nearby hotels to POM for about $15 per person. The shuttle company websites list the hotels they pick up at on their websites. Taxi will run about $70+, but the same fare gets you an SUV or minivan cab in case you have 3-5 passengers or lots of bags. UberX or standard Lyft will run about $35+ or UberXL will run about $70+ Same options and fares will get you back to FLL after your cruise. Good luck! cheeseclan Posted April 14, 2020 #11 Share Posted April 14, 2020 The last 2 times we flew into Miami and cruised out of port everglades. Once we took an Uber and once Lyft. Very easy to do.
