duquephart Posted June 9, 2020 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2020 The "new" My Viking Journey has the itinerary for my Homelands Cruise listed as "arnhem to reykjavik."
Eastporter Posted June 9, 2020 #2 Share Posted June 9, 2020 I see the same thing for my June 3 Homelands. The pre extension that was to be in Stockholm is now listed as Arnhem, the Netherlands, on June 1. But the first port is shown on June 3 as Stockholm with the cruise terminating in Bergen (prior to a Oslo post extension that we booked). The Arnhem start doesn’t make any sense. I have to assume this is a computer glitch as I have been selected as one of the guinea pigs for the new MVJ software.
Peregrina651 Posted June 10, 2020 #3 Share Posted June 10, 2020 @duquephart, is it still a problem?
Eastporter Posted June 10, 2020 #4 Share Posted June 10, 2020 It was still wrong today. Chatted with Viking rep and she is looking into it with IT Dept. She said their database had the correct itinerary - pre extension Stockholm, not Arnhem.

OnTheJourney Posted June 12, 2020 #6 Share Posted June 12, 2020 Wow...guess I no longer have to wonder why I'm being given different explanations by different agents relative to my recent concerns! Better check my own MVJ. Maybe I'm now schedule to go to Alaska instead of the Med 🤔
Eastporter Posted June 12, 2020 #7 Share Posted June 12, 2020 MVJ is now corrected. Our Homelands cruise now starts correctly in Stockholm instead of the Netherlands. I trust that OnTheJourney’s Med cruise no longer starts in Alaska. 😀 Methinks the new s/w package had some data conversion issues.

Maybe when they finally get to me all of these glitches will be cleared up. 😁
