BEWARE of SAGA Greenland!

We booked and paid in full in July 2019 for a tour in Aug 2020

Terms/conditions are that the payment is fully refundable

We cancelled the tour in March 2020--and have a chain of email whereby Saga agrees to fully refund us.

Then they never do--

They send a "screen shot" of a "refund" yet VISA states that SAGA never did the transfers in the banking system and it is just an "admin" internal screen shot

Then SAGA ignores additional emails AND takes down their website

We have the booking docs with the terms to be fully refundable...and the email chain

Still SAGA has claimed to "comply" with the terms and conditions (to VISA) -and yet has still not refunded us (its' June)

So we will be sending supporting docs.

DO NOT BOOK with SAGA. They do not honor their terms/conditions.

I saw on another post that they went out of business.

There was a recent discussion on the HAL board at the link below reporting that Saga/GeoIceland is in bankruptcy. As I posted there, if true, it’s most unfortunate. We and others on our Viking Passage sailing in the summer of 2018 had great tours with them. They were a totally reputable company.  Good luck to the OP.
