Do you personally count a back to back cruise as one cruise or two cruises?

Say that you sail on a ship to the Western Caribbean one week, followed by an Eastern Caribbean sailing, do you say that you took two cruises, or one cruise?

If I booked the cruise as one cruise with one booking number then I would consider it to be one cruise, with other people boarding halfway through. I suspect though that the lines that I sail with would sell it as two separate cruises with two separate booking numbers so I'd have to count it as two cruises.
