cjmayes51 Posted September 16, 2020 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2020 Looking at booking a trans Pacific on Princess for Sydney to Los Angeles. On United 2 one way tickets for Raleigh NC to Sydney are around $2600 for those fo you who used EZ Air, about how much have you saved on tickets vs going direct thru airlines. This would be in early 2022. Charlie
skynight Posted September 16, 2020 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2020 (edited) Work up a mock booking on the Princess web site and you can find the current airline pricing and routes for different airlines. You go through most of the booking steps except stop short of actual booking. Note that airlines have not traditionally posted airfares until 330 days prior to the flights. EZ Air pricing comes after the airlines post. You can book the cruise and add/cancel EZ Air in the cruise personlizer up until 45 days prior to the flights. katisdale Posted September 16, 2020 #3 Share Posted September 16, 2020 We used American out of Charlotte to Sydney. This was three years ago so might not be worth much. We flew to San Francisco on American and then Qantas to Sydney. Our cruise ended in San Francisco. We flew home on American from there. It cost almost $1000 each in business class round trip. I was astonished we got such a good price.
susancruzs Posted September 16, 2020 #4 Share Posted September 16, 2020 I can fly from Milwaukee to Dallas then direct to Sydney and it might be less than that, American and Qantas. My friends do this regularly as their daughter lives in Australia. I priced it out for a cruise I cancelled and it was just under $1,000. Two years ago though. HUNKY Posted September 17, 2020 #5 Share Posted September 17, 2020 Try using Google Flights before running a mock booking on EZ Air.
Rare patrickmoran Posted September 17, 2020 #6 Share Posted September 17, 2020 One way tix on the major airline's websites are incredibly expensive. I've gotten great one way fares to or from EZ Air for transatlantic cruises.
