New Carnival Cancellations, will Royal follow?

Carnival just cancelled all Nov/Dec cruises except for ones leaving Miami and Port Canaveral.  Will Royal follow?

Just reading their announcement. This does support speculation that, when RC cruises resume, they will be out of PortMiami and PortCanaveral.

They are just leaving the window open as those are the sailings that  "may" happen.  Just read it quickly but they are also giving the Miami and PC people incentives to cancel their bookings.  Guess that is how they will make sure they have reduced capacity just in case

Yes it is interesting, you could be right on target about reducing capacity.

I think now it's only Royal, Celebrity and NCL still left to extend past October ?

At this moment, Carnival will have 6 ships sailing come November(3 from Miami, 3 from Port Canaveral).

I am booked on one of the Carnival November sailings out of Miami.  I am not canceling because this cruise was originally booked for the Sunrise to Cuba in June, then the Magic in September, then the Breeze in October, now the Sunrise in November.  It is getting to the humorous stage.  I am certain this one will be cancelled, but keeping the booking anyway.  Maybe Number 5 will be the lucky cruise someday!
