Rare wolft927 Posted November 5, 2020 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2020 As i am going on the Glory in March, looks like she is in a dry dock slip in the Freeport shipyard. Maybe she is having things done to get ready to cruise again hopefully.
ULCajunCruiser Posted November 5, 2020 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2020 I'm on her in June. Is this a scheduled dry dock, or is it just some sprucing up before returning to service??

PSU2LSU Posted November 5, 2020 #4 Share Posted November 5, 2020 Last time I was on the Glory we had a accident in Cozumel. Maybe they are finally getting around to doing a proper fix on the back end of the ship.

chengkp75 Posted November 5, 2020 #6 Share Posted November 5, 2020 That's the wet berth dock, and the repairs Glory needed from the accident don't require a dry dock. Grand Bahamas Shipyard only has one of its three drydocks still available; one broke from Oasis, one was damaged in the hurricane last year. We are scheduled for that wet berth as of the 15th, and on the dock on the 19th.
Gin-soaked bar-room queen Posted November 5, 2020 #7 Share Posted November 5, 2020 According to crew-center.com, a 2020 dry dock schedule was posted in September of last year. Fascination was scheduled for dry dock in Freeport Nov 7-19, 2020. I guess they decided to move Glory up on the schedule in Fascination’s place. And it makes sense that they would use it for Glory's necessary and important repairs in the abandoned Fascination slot.
bettyboop16 Posted November 6, 2020 #9 Share Posted November 6, 2020 Interior of the ship needs updated. Lots of worn out furniture everywhere.

If Glory sails that will be awesome 2 cruises one year

No clue, just working off marinetraffic. Never went in dry dock, so I suspect it was just for more repairs to the damaged area of the MDR.
