Concierge A1 cabins on Marina

Hi all,

We're new to Oceania, looking at booking a A1 cabin on deck 10 on the Marina. Can anyone tell us if any of the A1 balcony cabins on deck 10 are obstructed by poles or window washing equipment. We're long time Celebrity cruisers, their forums have a cabin spreadsheet that gives you all the information.

Thank you for any info you can provide.

No obstructions such as you describe, but it is worth noting that the main pool deck, which is  Deck 12 on the Marina, and therefore approximately 20 feet above the level of deck 10, has a cantilevered overhang of about 6 feet along its' entire length.

Well it kinda would be 20 ft from the top of deck 10. I think he meant that deck 10 is still blocked a bit by the overhang. Personally it's always been a non issue for me. I usually look out from my balcony, not so much up.

The over hang on Deck 11 obstructs the view when looking out. It does not on Deck 10. Even when booking PH on the O ships we opt for Deck 10 PH2, not Deck 11.

When sailing into a fjord, or even a mountainous island, a portion of the panorama is up not out. Taking photos can be difficult from Deck 11 cabins. At 06:30 I might not yet be ready to leave the cabin , and go up top, to get good shots. Never an issue on Deck 10 to do it on one’s balcony and get the full panorama view.

I'm with you, Lynne,   deck 11 feels the overhang more than 10 does.

Trying to offer full disclosure as some people object to being hung with brand new rope.
