BJzink Posted February 14, 2021 #51 Share Posted February 14, 2021 Exotic cruise in 2019 (I think), waiting for it to repeat. I saw a cruise in the South Pacific which featured all of the battles of WW2. I read about it when it was almost over, but have looked for this itinerary ever since. Anyone have any information about it???

Anyone have any information about it??? I really wish I could on that trip as well. I only saw those places on the videos and in the war movies and documentaries. I wonder how long it takes to visit them all how much it costs

This came as a surprise thought we were doing something wrong. With regards to Casino discounts - I find that often when a sailing is being sold as a "collectors cruise" made up of one or more shorter segments that the individual segments will offer the casino discount but the collectors cruise will not. It may behoove you to price out the transpacific and the Circle Australia separately and see if either qualify for the Casino discount. Additionally - sometimes when new itineraries open up the casino discount is not immediately loaded into the voyage number and may take a few days to auto-populate. Or it just may not be available for that sailing at all. Hope that helps :) Edited February 14, 2021 by AtlantaCruiser72

We tend to book collector’s cruises and receive the casino discount. Good recommendation for xjust4fun to check pricing on the B2B. 😄

Hope that helps 🙂 Thank you so very much for your recommendation, we costed the journey as suggested (34, 35 and 16 days) and no mariner/casino discounts are offered for these itineraries. There is a huge difference if one books under the Advantage offer and foregoes the perks which could be beneficial for friends who do not drink. The pricing for this journey is good till end of Feb. I have already booked the cabin under a hold but will call my PCC to further discuss. Again thank you so much for your suggestions. Diane
