Four days to Nowhere on the Quantum.

This is February 2021 cruise to nowhere on the Quantum of the Seas.

1.  The ship is sailing with the required 50% capacity limit set.

2.  The weather doesn't look great yet the interior venues on the ship look almost empty, compared to 100% capacity on a rainy day.

3.  It seems like every venue normally operated on a full capacity cruise is operational.

I can't imagine a ship operating with 60% capacity (that is RCCL'S stated occupancy where the ship will make money) would be that much more crowded if you can even use the word crowed after viewing  this video.

Would we sail if we had the opportunity to do so on a cruise like this, maybe with a vaccination requirement and PCR test along with what can be seen as the mask requirements and social distancing in the various venues ???????

Absolutely YES.

And with a day or two at an RCCL private island, maybe a stop at a U.S. cruise friendly port and a day or two extra at sea just wondering how many would sign up..??

Thank you!

You are very welcome.

We have a Grand Suite booked for the November sailing of the Anthem.

We have been vaccinated due to age and employment.

The planned Itinerary is:

DEPARTURE.  Cape liberty (New Jersey may be a problem ?)

Canaveral. Florida seems to open to all.

CoCo Cay great to avoid the Jones Act if allowed to dock.

Nassau.   ?  Who knows at this point  ?. Been there TOO many times anyway and would not mind staying at CoCo Cay or at sea.

I wish the C.D.C. would get off the pot or do something other than flip flop on their requirements or recommendations.
