The video is a week old and all has changed!

Just read that on Quantum of the Seas out of Singapore where the alert level has been raised, dining has been adjusted to offer takeaway option and room service only - not my idea of a cruise!

So with the changes, did they send the crew that was joining this ship back home ?

The changes may be just a very short temporary halt or obstacle in the process that is in place to re-staff and prepare to cruise.

Odyssey has had her Israel sailings cancelled (if I am thinking of the correct ship - the new one?) so her next planned sailings are Caribbean ones later in the year.

Yes but why were they cancelled, and what is the new plan...........

"""

Today Odyssey of the Seas is in Limassol, Cyprus to meet Anthem of the Seas where ship-to-ship transfers will take place. The Odyssey crew without U.S. visa will be transferred on Anthem of the Seas. Anthem will then sail to the U.K. and Odyssey will sail to the U.S.

The crew said that Odyssey will set sail to the U.S. as soon as the crew transfers are completed.

It was cancelled due to the unrest in Israel, as it was being homeported there. Celebrity is due to call at ports in Israel but nothing has been announced yet re those.

This is good news showing planning for the Odyssey as well as the Anthem who will have plenty of time to get her crew prepared under the regulations before it sails to the US at the end of October.

Looks like there is a lot of sensible plans in the works which are following the C.D.C. regulations as best as possible. LOL
