Markanddonna Posted June 4, 2021 #1 Share Posted June 4, 2021 Does anyone have experience with Jetstar? We are looking at it for Honolulu to Sydney. Jetstar is a low cost airline from Quantas.
Rare FlyerTalker Posted June 4, 2021 #2 Share Posted June 4, 2021 Business class is old-style recliner seat. Coach is ostensibly at 30 inch pitch, though reports are that this is an overly optimistic answer. Be sure to check all of the add-ons that you get charged for with a discount carrier. iancal Posted June 7, 2021 #4 Share Posted June 7, 2021 (edited) We have experience with Jetstar Australia. Also with Jetstar in Asia. We have returned home from Australia twice with Jetstar. Economy seats. What we save by flying Jetstar to HNL and then another airline home to Canada has paid for our two night hotel stay in HNL. Both times we paid $300-$329 AUD. We would not hesitate to book this airline, this route again. One of our flights was a code share with Qantas. We have also flown Jetstar to points inside Australia....Melbourne, Brisbane, Hobart, Launceston. All good. Sign up for Jetstar sales. Our Australian friends gave us the heads up on this which is how we ended up in Tasmania for a week. We have also flown Jetstar in Vietnam and Thailand. No issue whatsoever. We only travel with carry-on. Jetstar does weight your carry on. Sometimes on both check in and at the gate! Luggage, in flight meals, entertainment are all extra cost items on Jetstar.
