booking codes and Shareholder OBC eligibility?

Are there any Carnival booking codes that would be ineligible for Shareholder OBC? I have read the terms and conditions but the phrase "reduced -rate" could be applied to any booking.

In particular I am looking at some PLX (exclusive player last minute) and OWV (plan now play later). I am likely 99% certain OWV is OK, but are the Casino last minute (PLX) eligible as well? I would think so as for my offers, there is really no difference when I include the OBC offered on OWV rates.

Apply using the shareholders form regardless of rate and you will most likely get it regardless.  We have 8 complimentary cruises booked with carnival and princess and the gave the shareholders benefit on all of them and said they are being lenient due to the covid situation. Just DO NOT use your pvp to book. They will not get you the shareholders obc.

Thanks!

We're small player Casino folks so not at the 'complimentary' cruise level yet, so an even better chance the OBC will be honoured  (-:

I don't see how using a PVP can change eligibility.

Of course, the only deeply-discounted casino fares I get are on HAL (with only 3 cruises on them) yet I have 30 cruises on Carnival and typically only get minor discounts and a little casino cash.

HAL does NOT give the s/h credit on those deeply-discounted casino rates.  But Carnival does.

Sure would be nice if the lines under the CCL corporate umbrella would consider handling things in a little more consistent manner.

But, hey, I'll take my $200 10-night Eurodam sailing w/o a s/h credit, thanks very much!

Its doesnt. My pal says she isnt supposed to apply for it for me. I'm supposed to do it directly.

Maybe it's a question of privacy of your stock holders info they dont want you giving your pvp.

From what I have read, about the only bookings they do not give the credit for are interline (I may have the term wrong), basically cruises given to travel agents.

Interesting information about PVPs not being able to apply for you. I use a TA, and have no problem letting him send in the information and confirming that we have received it.

Oh, I misunderstood. I wouldn't give my info to anyone else to apply. It's eady. Just send an email. Black out your account number in all the places. Easy peasy. I've done it 4 times already. Ive yet to use it because of cancellations but. Have it again.
