Transfer FCC from a cancelled cruise?

I've been reading the CWC faqs but didn't see this addressed. If I cancel a paid in full cruise that has FCC, can I move that FCC to another cruise?  I guess I would have to move it before I actually cancel the cruise. My concern is that have final payment due tomorrow for a 12 night Equinox cruise Sept. 26. At this point we want to go, but after final pay something may cause us to want to cancel. I know I can get FCC for the cruise price, but I want to retain my FCC that has been applied to this cruise.

I used FCC from two cancelled cruises last year to book two cruises this year which in turn got cancelled by Celebrity, not by me. The original FCC from last year’s cruises automatically got reinstated with new book by date of 04/30/22 and Sail by date 09/30/22. I would presume the same thing would happen regardless whether it’s you cancelling or Celebrity.

Yes, your FCC can be used for another cruise when X cancels or you do. If you pay final and part of that is a prior FCC being used, all funds are an FCC you can use for the future cruise and you do Not have to book one prior to cancelling. And the dates listed in the earlier post are the good ones. Just check if you get your upcoming cruise payment as FCC. 

 

One minor heads up. when you are booking family SRs and you are paying, the FCC goes to the person(s) listed in the SRs not you. You get your FCC for your SR and they get the FCC for their’s even if you paid for it.

Thanks to both of you. Den, makes sense that if part of my final pay is an FCC (which it is) and I only get FCC for cancelling, then all of that refund credit includes the former FCC.
