robinbird62 Posted June 21, 2021 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2021 I am thinking of booking the all inclusive dining package, we have cruised many times but never booked this before. My daughter (who will not be travelling with us) and myself wanted to treat her dad as a belated father days present. Has anyone done this and have any suggestions on how to get the best out of the package.
sgmn Posted June 21, 2021 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2021 I haven't done it but have purchased the two or three day package before (not sure if that's a thing anymore) which we really enjoyed as a change from the main dinning room. Not sure if you've been on Anthem before but the included options are pretty good, including the Solarium restaurant Lovely idea though from your daughter as a fathers day present

I find that the 3n package is enough. As posted, Solarium Bistro is a good free alternative to the dining rooms. I like Wonderland, Chops and Jamie’s ( although Jamie’s for lunch on boarding day is always a good way to start the cruise off and the lunch menu is very reasonably priced). Rare Rogueperson Posted June 21, 2021 #5 Share Posted June 21, 2021 How many nights is your cruise? I loved all the specialty restaurants on Anthem, so I think the UDP would be worth it especially if you've cruised many times before. Also, have you considered Chef's Table. The only flaw is that it is NOT included in the UDP, so you would have to pay in addition to the UDP and not use it for one night of your cruise for Chef's Table.
