Decks with laundry's

When I look on deck plans of the QM2 , I see launderettes on decks 4,5,6,8, and 10 but none on deck 9 or 11 which also have passenger cabins.  Am I just missing them, or do they not exist on those decks?   Thanks for any help.

Deck 11's launderette is forward, opposite cabin 11.006.  You are correct that there is none on deck 9 (or on 12 and 13).

I believe they want passengers to share locations on different decks.

 

This too was what we experienced on the QE2.

 

You may find elevators/stairways near them for other decks to share.

There's no rule that says you have to use the one  on your deck. On the QE there were none on our deck (1) - so I'd take the lift to a mid deck that had one - and worked  my way back down until I found a free machine (just make a note of which floor it was LOL)

which makes me laugh when confronted by others in the laundry about being "not from that deck" as if only those deck residents can use that particular room. 

 

I personally love the laundrette it always gives me a giggle for the rest of the day.
