Does it matter when I purchase my annual plan for a 8/23/21 start date?

Should I just go ahead and purchase my GeoBlue annual plan today or wait until closer to start date later this month?  It looks like if needed a GeoBlue plan can be cancelled as long as it is cancelled before the start date  Thanks
