Excursions in Alaska....the timing of the tours

Have you looked at booking independently?  I don't have enough time after my ziplining tour in Skagway to do the desired tour offered by Princess, so I found alternatives by looking for independent tours in the afternoon.  Sometimes the tour times for the ship excursions are different form the tour times for independent bookings.

Just remember that you need to be back 30 min prior to listed ship departure time.

The people at the shore excursion desk should be able to tell you which excursions are possible to do the same day. I wouldn't want to book anything without at least an hour leeway in between them, and even that could be pushing it.
