Milan and Florence, Wine Tour Guide and Day Trips

We are staying in Milan for several days before Venice cruise.  Hoping to take day trips to

wineries in Lombardy, & Piedmont regions.  Also to Florence by train or with guide.

 

Asking for recommendations for Wine Tour Guides out of Milan & Florence, either private or small group. 

Hopefully, someone you have had a good experience with.  (We try to avoid the Viator type of day tours.)

 

I welcome any ideas & suggestions also on travel to the Lakes Region, either on your own or with a guide.

Rome in Limo, mentioned here quite frequently, is a high quality operation in Florence and a number of other Italian cities. I don't think they operate in Milan.

But if the OPs can manage an easy trip by train to Florence, I'm sure RIL would be happy to meet them there and work with them on a wine tour....
