Merion_Mom Posted September 20, 2021 #26 Share Posted September 20, 2021 To me, it really doesn't look like it will be that intrusive for the other guests. (I think that it's a partial charter) https://philadelphiaeaglescruise.com/events-activities/

Had embarkation lunch in Chops and got to sit and chat with some of the former players. Although I definitely will not root for the Packers, it was cool to chat with them. As far as the fans? They mostly kept to the Sky Bar above the pool, and all were well behaved. They had some special events with the players in a couple of the venues, but never really noticed if it was an area I wanted to be at. Honestly didn't think there were more than 100-150 of them. Only saw a few in the casino.......if I ended up with another Football Team cruise I would for sure go!!! We were on a Green Bay Packer fan cruise also (on Princess). They didn't bother anyone at all as they were a small group and didn't tie up any venues. We're Vikings fans but were able to get a couple of the players' autographs for our Packer son-in-law. Keep the cruise and enjoy it!
cruizzing Posted September 20, 2021 #28 Share Posted September 20, 2021 Took Biker's suggestion and Google searched with ship name and dates. Will be on with "Battle on the Seas" - a dance studio charter it seems.... Think I would prefer the Eagles one, but dates are limited so will likely go with it. Hoping capacity is still low anyway. med02 Posted September 20, 2021 #29 Share Posted September 20, 2021 Just remembered another cruise we were on that I would definitely avoid at all costs. It was a polka group cruise with over 300 people and they tied up the main venues frequently. It was by invitation only and we couldn't even watch them dance. 🙂
mugtech Posted September 20, 2021 #30 Share Posted September 20, 2021 Just checked prices for Anthem 7 nights 3/20/22 and the insides start at $394/pp and the balconies at $424/pp plus $194 taxes and port fees. Maybe the idea of a boatload of Eagles fans is keeping the the prices low, the previous weeks are higher. Perhaps they will show the movie Where Eagles Dare. Based on yesterday's game pretty sure this cruise will not be a delayed Superbowl victory celebration. Gonna buy my tickets just in case. Great way to welcome Spring.
