Hilton Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort Information Wanted

We are planning on staying here pre-cruise in late April 2022 and would like to hear from anyone that has stayed here before. How were the accommodations and hotel amenities (pool, dining, lounge, beach, etc.)? Are there other places (not hotels) in the area that you would recommend going to? We were originally going to stay closer to the port, but our flight arrives early in the day and the hotel allows us to use their facilities if our room isn’t ready when we arrive.

Stayed there pre-Covid several times.  Very nice hotel.  Great pool.  There’s a good cafe on the first floor with pizza and sandwiches.  Lots of good restaurants around.  You are right across the street from the beach.  If you are Hilton Honors with the breakfast perk, the breakfast buffet was good.  It’s pricier than the Embassy Suites, Marina, and Doubletree, but IMO worth it.

The hotel is more than adequate, especially for a one night stay. It would not be my choice for a week, but nice enough for a night. The onsite dining is similarly adequate. If you want something better than adequate for dinner look at Mastro's, Etna Rosso, Shooter's (before sundown), and Greek Islands Taverna, to name a few.

I stayed at this hotel in May of this year for a week. We loved it. Very nice hotel. Good restaurants on site. We ate at all of them at least once. We went to the pool many times and enjoyed it. Beach is just across the street. We loved going to Coconuts, a restaurant not too far away.

It's been a few years since our last stay here and it was a week after a huge hurricane trashed the FL coast.  The hotel is outstanding.  Great bar on the upper floor with decent food and killer few.  We were upgraded to a two room suite with a great view from the balcony.  Easy walking distance to a bunch of restaurants and places to buy stuff you forgot. I would stay here or the Galleria One Doubletree suites depending on price difference.  We have stayed at both several times.

Never made it there but easy walk from the hotel was LuLu's beach hut.  It's upstairs above the CVS with a great view out over the beach.
