AncientWanderer Posted October 20, 2021 #5 Share Posted October 20, 2021 It's my understanding that the Club Orange dining room on the Rotterdam is much nicer because it was incorporated into the ship design, rather than just a repurposed space. Rare zgscl Posted October 20, 2021 #6 Share Posted October 20, 2021 I seem to remember something about one of the pools on Koningsdam that was a mistake (something about the deep end and the stairs/ladder maybe?) that was a design flaw and fixed on Nieuw Statendam and Rotterdam. Caribbean Chris Posted October 20, 2021 #7 Share Posted October 20, 2021 Rotterdam has a library, as shown in this screen shot from an interview a couple of months ago by Seth.

It’s carpeted and has a different entry. This again was part of Seth’s interview before the ship left the yard, so the room was not fully set up yet. Rare rafinmd Posted October 20, 2021 #9 Share Posted October 20, 2021 My understanding is the lifeboat design is different allowing the Rotterdam to pass through the Panama Canal. Roy
