Amsterdam Hotel pre cruise.

Hi we are arriving at the airport at 18.30 and need a hotel for one night before we cruise the next day.

Is it better to stay near airport or near cruise terminal. Also best way to get to hotel and cruise terminal and back to airport after cruise for 12oclock flight.

Assuming your ship leaves from Amsterdam and it is not a river ship, check Movenpick Hotel which is above the cruise terminal. If you would be interested to see a bit of Amsterdam any hotel around Centraal Station is convenient too.

If luggage is no problem, the best way for you could be the train from Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Central Station. Leave the Station at the riverside exit. 1300/1400 meters walk to the Mövenpick Hotel as Ine suggested.

A great hotel on the canal with some extras included. . Friends always stay there. You need a cab to go to the cruise terminal, it will take about 10 minute.

We were originally booked to stay here until everything was cancelled due to covid. So this 2022 cruise will be my next attempt. Thanks for reaffirming my choice.
